Clinic Policies

We look forward to seeing you at SkinMedix. For the optimum treatment please observe our clinic policies designed to ensure every client enjoys their time with us.


Please be punctual. If you have a longer appointment arriving 5-10 minutes before your appointment time allows for a stress-free check-in. If you are running late we will do all we can to accommodate you, however, in consideration of the next client, treatments must be completed at the scheduled time.

Appointment and Booking Policy

Sometimes a change in plans is unavoidable, however, we do require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.
No shows and last minute cancellations enormously disadvantage both our business and other clients as those on our waiting list miss out on these times that become available due to lack of notice.

Please note the following policies and conditions applicable to our appointments: 


We prefer bookings made in advance to best prepare for your treatment. Walk-ins are most welcome but subject to availability.

Booking Deposits

A deposit is required to secure all bookings. For beauty treatments we require a 50% deposit, for skin treatments a $50 deposit.

Booking Confirmations

All bookings are confirmed in advanced.

48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment we will send you a text message and ask you to confirm by replying Y (for Yes). We recommend you reply straight away so you don't forget. If you can't make it, we really appreciate as much notice as possible, so give us a call to cancel or reschedule.

24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, if you have not yet confirmed, we will send you an email reminding you to either confirm your appointment or reschedule to avoid forfeiting your deposit.

12 hours prior to your schedule appointment, if you still haven't confirmed, your deposit will be forfeited and the appointment time will be offered to another client from our waiting list, if applicable.


Non Attendance (no shows)

Should you fail to notify us that you won't be attending your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required for any future appointments. If you fail to show up more than 3 times, full payment of the appointment value will be required at the time of booking, which will then be subject to forfeit for non attendance. No exceptions.

How the deposit ($50 or 50%) to secure your booking works:

Your deposit will be held over for your next booking or it can be used towards the payment of your treatment.
We understand that sometimes you may need to change your booking – we require 24 hours’ notice so that we can offer that time to another client.
If you cannot provide 24 hours’ notice you may send a friend or family member in your place so as to not forfeit your deposit.
We cannot accept answering machine messages left overnight, on weekends when the clinic is closed and public holidays, as this does not give us an opportunity to rebook your time slot.
If you do not wish to pay a $50/50% deposit to secure a booking you are more than welcome to book on the day, subject to availability, but please know we are unable to allocate a specific therapist or time in advance for you.

Gift Vouchers

We trust you are looking forward to using your gift voucher at our clinic. Please note there are a few conditions attached to your voucher:
You will need to book an appointment to fulfil the voucher.

Our booking policy also applies to appointments using a gift voucher.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment.
If you fail to show up for your appointment our booking policy will come into affect.
You are welcome to change the treatment within the value of the voucher, use the voucher over several appointments or use the voucher towards a different treatment with a higher price point.

Please note vouchers have an expiry date of 3 years, but we would love to see you in the clinic within 6 months from voucher issue.

Clinic Etiquette

Out of consideration for other clients please ensure mobile phones are switched off or placed on silent mode. If you need to make or take a call would you kindly step out of the clinic to do so.

Prams and children under 12 are not permitted in the clinic due to insurance regulations.

Price and Payments

We accept both cash and major credit cards. We also accept American Express. All prices include GST. Prices are subject to change from time to time.

Skin Treatment Programs

We offer skin treatments at discounted prices when purchased as a program. Programs are designed by your skin therapist to offer solutions to skin concerns. These programs include a schedule of when treatments are delivered for best results. Therefore, the T & C's attached to these package prices include the following:

Programs cannot be shared and programs are not transferable. The full program is scheduled at the time of purchase. Programs have an expiry date. No refunds are available once the program has commenced as treatments have been delivered at a significantly discounted rate.

Tuesday – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Wednesday – 10:00am – 7:00pm

Thursday – 10:00am – 7:00pm

Friday – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday – Once a month by appointment only

Sunday – Closed

Clinic Atmosphere

We have tried hard to create an atmosphere of relaxation and escape. You are most welcome to arrive a little earlier and enjoy a refreshment. There is always soft music playing and new magazines to browse through … all part of the SkinMedix experience. 


We recommend you make an advanced booking to secure a time that suits you best and that you rebook your next appointment before you leave the clinic as we do book up quickly. Please note, we keep a waiting list, so if you need a last-minute appointment please do not hesitate to call, we will do our very best to accommodate you.
